Performing work related to electronics requires the use of appropriate equipment. If you use a standard resistance soldering iron without temperature regulation, and you have mastered the basic soldering technique, then it is worth purchasing a soldering station with a temperature regulation function. Thanks to this function, you can adjust the soldering parameters according to the physical properties of the solder alloy you want to solder on, both based on leaded tin and lead-free tin (which requires a higher soldering temperature than leaded tin). The 2-in-1 soldering station means not only greater functionality, but also increased safety of use. The internal control and regulation systems are powered by a transformer that reduces the mains voltage to a safe voltage level. The soldering iron is based on a K-type thermocouple, which guarantees high stability of the soldering temperature. You can easily replace the soldering tips with ones of a different shape, depending on the specific task being performed (soldering/desoldering). All 2-in-1 soldering stations offered by Botland are equipped with a soldering iron stand and a sponge or metal shavings cleaner. Regular cleaning of the tips extends their life and has a positive effect on the efficiency of the soldering process.

The second function of the 2-in-1 soldering station offered by the Botland store is hot air blowing. Depending on the specifications of specific models in the offer, you can choose a station equipped with a compressor supplying compressed air to the flask or a station equipped with a flask with a built-in heater and a fan driven by a brushless motor. We can use hot air blowing for soldering and desoldering surface-mounted components (SMD). Just as in the case of the tip soldering station module, we can replace the soldering tips, in the hot-air module we can change the outlet nozzles, depending on the size of the elements to be desoldered. A wide temperature range allows you to easily cope with even the hardest soldering fields in modern electronics, where lead-free tin is used. The hot air station can also be used to heat shrink tubing and to weld plastic components together.

2-in-1 soldering stations give the user a wide range of possibilities to perform numerous works related to the assembly and repair of electronic systems. Such an integrated soldering station takes up much less space compared to two separate devices, and the grouping of switches and control knobs on a common panel increases the convenience of use.
