Doing work related to electronics requires the use of appropriate equipment. If you use a standard resistance soldering iron without temperature control, and you have mastered the basic soldering technique, then it is worth buying a soldering station with temperature control function. Thanks to this function, you can adjust the soldering parameters appropriately to the physical properties of the solder you want to solder, both on leaded and unleaded tin (which requires a higher soldering temperature than leaded tin). A 2-in-1 soldering station, is not only more functionality, but also increased safety of use. Internal control and regulation systems are powered through a transformer, which reduces the mains voltage to a safe level. The soldering iron is based on K-type thermocouple, which guarantees high stability of soldering temperature. The soldering tips can be easily exchanged for those of a different shape, depending on the specific task (soldering/soldering). All 2-in-1 soldering stations offered by Botland, are equipped with a soldering iron holder with a cleaning agent in the form of sponge or metal chips. Regular cleaning of tips, extends their life and has a positive impact on the efficiency of the soldering process.
Soldering stations 2 in 1 - hot air soldering
The second function of soldering stations 2in1 offered by Botland store, is hot-air blowing. Depending on the specifications of specific models, you can choose a station equipped with a compressor that supplies compressed air to the flask, or a station equipped with a flask with built-in heater and fan driven by a brushless motor. A blow of hot air can be used for soldering and desoldering of surface mounted components (SMD). Similarly as in the case of soldering station module we can replace the soldering tips, so in the hot-air module we can change the nozzles, according to the size of the soldered elements. Wide temperature range allows you to easily cope with even the hardest solder fields in modern electronics, where lead-free tin is used. The hot air station can also be used to heat up heat shrink sleeves, as well as to weld plastic parts together.
2-in-1 soldering stations - versatility and ease of use
A 2-in-1 soldering station gives the user a wide range of options for numerous electronics assembly and repair jobs. Such an integrated soldering station takes up much less space compared to two separate devices, and the grouping of switches and control knobs on a common panel makes it more convenient to use.
