Simple and functional housings for Arduino
In our store, we offer various, usually two-piece housings, adapted in dimensions to boards from the Arduino Uno, Leonardo, Yun or Arduino Mega series. Some of them are made of black plastic and resemble classic Raspberry Pi cases, providing easy access to the USB port and GPIO line, others - transparent, colorless or colorful - allow you to view the status of the built-in LEDs and... give the whole thing an intriguing, raw design . Some housings are designed for specific applications - for example, we have a housing for Arduino Uno, adapted to accommodate the main board with an LCD Keypad Shield.
Universal mounting stands
Our offer also includes universal stands that allow you to mount Arduino Uno, as well as Raspberry Pi 2B/3B or Raspberry Pi Zero (and Zero W). In industrial applications or building automation solutions, DIN rail housings are perfect - both full, designed for mounting the board horizontally, and specially designed holders that allow for mounting the board vertically (perpendicular to the DIN rail), which significantly saves space in the control cabinet . Arduino housings - FAQ
Housings designed for the Arduino microcontroller are made of various materials, including: from synthetic materials. The purpose of the housing is to protect the microcontroller against damage, as well as to ensure adequate air circulation and access to the connectors. To some extent, the casing is resistant to mechanical factors. However, strong impacts, high pressure or other mechanical factors involving the use of high force may damage the housing.
The Arduino microcontroller during operation (especially under intense load) emits heat, which must be effectively dissipated outside. Additionally, during use, the housing should provide easy access to the connectors (we encourage you to read the description of the Arduino pins ). This connection means that most Arduino cases are not waterproof.
