Every electronics or robotics technician implementing a project involving the construction of any electronic device that requires soldering, met the need to have a "third hand". "Third hand" is commonly called a tool that allows you to quickly attach small objects to a stable stand.
For example, a soldering iron needs to be operated at the same time as the soldering iron, the tin held in one hand and the circuit board itself at the right angle (in relation to the lighting, for example) in the other. Handy pliers with strong springs can provide a stable grip.

When soldering small components it often happens that in addition to the "third hand" a more detailed look at the soldered part of the board is needed (for example to check the correct solder joint).
Appropriate holders and a magnifying glass mounted on the same stable tripod are able to replace a second person who would be necessary to solder a given device. Such a small tool is an invaluable help both for an experienced and a novice electronics or robotics technician.
