Product description: Gravity - rain sensor - I2C and UART - DFRobot SEN0575
The Gravity rainfall sensor from DFRobot is a reliable and convenient device for precise measurements. Its design is based on a container with inclined walls that allow rainwater to flow and measure its quantity. It provides the user with values in millimeters and informs about the operating time of the device. Importantly, this sensor does not contain any electronic components, which translates into its stability and sensitivity. Additionally, the hollow bottom allows for automatic drainage of rainwater, which increases the reliability of the sensor. Support for I2C and UART data outputs makes it compatible with many platforms such as micro:bit , Arduino, Raspberry Pi or ESP32 . The Gravity interface makes it easy to use the sensor, and the availability of ready-made libraries allows you to easily set up a rain monitoring system.
Special features
- Rainfall measurement - precisely determines the amount of rainfall in millimeters
- Working time registration - provides information on the duration of monitoring
