ADC converters - from analog to digital signals

In the real world, most of the physical quantities in electronic systems are represented by analog signals. In order for the microcontroller or microprocessor to read the electric voltage, the value of which is reflected by the tested factor, such as the ambient temperature or another, analog input signal, must be converted into a digital signal. For this to happen, many processes have to take place, such as filtering the signal, sampling, quantizing and coding. A very important issue is the accuracy in the processing of the digital input signal, which is determined by factors such as the cut-off frequency of the anti-aliasing filter, the sampling frequency of the sample & hold circuit, quantization levels and quantization errors of the converter. In all this, a key role is played by small electronic components called ADC converters. ADC converters are widely used in communication devices, electrometric apparatus, power automation, electro-acoustic amplifiers, electric musical instruments and in many other hobby and very professional devices. RTC clocks modules - precise time measurement

Real Time Clocks (RTC) modules are commonly used in embedded systems. You will find them in many different devices such as wristwatches, alarms, time systems. Where the date and time must be determined before any calculation operation can be performed, we need the RTC module. Typically, RTC clocks are in the form of separate electronic circuits with an independent power supply from a 3.0V battery, e.g. CR2032. When it comes to programmable electronics, however, most often such devices are in the form of a small PCB, which you can easily connect to the motherboard, e.g. Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

RTC modules are necessary when starting the process of transferring data between two devices. Thanks to this, you can safely turn off the power of the microcontroller in the embedded system - the RTC clock will still provide access to the time and date despite disconnecting the power supply. The RTC communication is based on a serial interface such as SPI or I²C (slightly less frequently). The RTC system is equipped with separately addressed registers, which are read on an ongoing basis by the microcontroller, thanks to which the system can run smoothly anytime.

Noise-free differential amplifiers

In this category you will also find more advanced modules such as noise-free differential amplifiers. A good example is the Grove Differential Amplifier module - the INA132 system works in the differential amplifier mode, i.e. a combination of an inverting and non-inverting amplifier. The main task of such a device is to amplify the voltage difference on both inputs of the amplifier. An additional function of this type of amplifiers is the suppression of voltage signals common to both amplifier inputs, which results in no noise. The Grove Differential Amplifier system allows you to amplify the differential signal 35 or 1085 times, thanks to which we have great precision, and the noise level is still negligible. The Grove Differential Amplifier, like other modules from the Grove series, will work with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and many other boards without any problems. Other technical advantages of such a system include high temperature stability and high performance in the design of measuring systems.
