Description
It allows for turning on and off devices that require power from 5V to 15V with a digital signal. The module is characterized by a significantly higher switching frequency than conventional mechanical switch, which can reach 5 MHz. It has two mounting holes, two ARK connectors and a standard Grove series connector. The kit also includes a Grove cable. It is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone Forward, LinkIt ONE and most other mini-computer/controllers.
Connection
The module has a Grove connector (SIG, NC, VCC, GND) that is supplied with the control signal and power connector and two ARK connectors - one (Vin, GND) takes an input voltage between 5 and 15 V, the second (Vout, GND) is used to power the output device. In the absence of a power connector ARK, the module supplies current to the second ARKconnector from the Grove connector (5 V).
The manufacturer provides on its website a simple scheme for connecting Arduino and Raspberry Pi together with the source codes.
