The Raspberry Pi single-board minicomputer series has been a true market success. It is an excellent platform for learning embedded system programming, as well as prototyping electronic devices with varying degrees of development. The Raspberry Pi minicomputer allows you to build many interesting projects. By writing short source code and connecting external hardware to GPIO pins, you can build, among others electric drives controller, measurement instruments and even gaming machines! On March 14, 2018, i.e. exactly on the world Pi day, the Raspberry Pi Foundation announced the launch of the Pi 3B + model. It is the successor of the Pi 3B model. In terms of PCB geometry and location of the connectors, virtually nothing has changed. However, the new single-board minicomputer from Raspberry Pi contains several new hardware improvements. The Pi 3B + model is equipped with a new, more efficient main processor and a modified heat dissipation system. An important change is also an improved wireless communication system. Raspberry Pi 3B+ with its hardware parameters shows an ever closer development trend towards standard PCs.
