Description: Grove - ring of RGB LED WS2813 x 24 diodes - 35 mm - Seeedstudio 104020168.
The module in the form of a ring with a diameter of35 mmequipped with 24RGB LEDswiththe WS2813 controller. Each of the diodes can be individually addressed. The ring has aGroveconnector, which makes it easy to connect the module with a Base Shield capfor Arduino.
Rings of LEDs can be connected in cascade through soldering pads. If several modules are connected, the signal should be connected to the SIG pin of the Grove connector or to the DIN pin on the board. More modules should be powered from a source with a higher current capacity, via the VIN connector.
Arduinocompatible product The manufacturer prepared auser guidewith a sample code for Arduino users. |
Example of cascade connection of LED rings.
Module outputs
The module has a 4-pin Grove connector, which makes it easy to connect the ring to the main module e.g. Arduino using a Base Shield cap.
Main features of the RGB LED ring
- 256 grey levels, 256*256*256=16777216 displayed colours
- Built-in control system in 3535 components
- Supports 3.3 V and 5 V power supply
- Wires with two signals, interrupting one diode does not interrupt the entire module
As long as two or more adjacent LEDs are not damaged, the other LEDs will continue to operate.
