Micro N20 MP-Series High-Performance Medium Power Motors
Motors of this type are an excellent proposal for people who expect a very good quality to price ratio. N20 Motors are characterised by high quality workmanship and long durability. The main advantage of this type of offer is even more than three times lower amount for a single device than in the competition. It is worth adding that the series is created in such a way that the accessories produced for the motors of the popular Pololu company are compatible with these components. These accessories include special motor mounts or, for example, matching plastic wheels for mobile robots. If you care about being able to use the range of accessories from Pololu, choosing motors from the N20 Motors range will allow you to freely combine these components with each other.
What we offer in this category?
We offer more than 40 products with different technical parameters. A very important aspect in this type of equipment is the size and weight of the components, because they are often used in devices that are supposed to take up as little space as possible. Good examples are mobile robots or, for example, robotic human limb prostheses. A key aspect is to hide any components in a case of a certain size. All motors in this category have a diameter of 12 mm, their length is exactly 24 mm, the diameter of the shaft is 3 mm (important when selecting a wheel, for example) and they weigh 10 g. These are the most popular dimensions of this type of devices from Pololu's offer. They provide great possibilities while maintaining relatively small size. This series of products is characterized by a compromise between the capabilities of the motors and the level of power consumption. Thus, devices with such motors will be powerful enough for many tasks and yet will not need additional power supply (for example, more cells). The required current voltage values vary depending on the model and range from 1 V to as much as 12 V. However, the most common components are those operating between 3 V and 9 V. The electric motor requires a current of approx. 40 mA, 70 mA, 80 mA or 100 mA (depending on the model) during steady state no-load operation. When a load occurs (for example, when starting), a much higher current must be supplied to the motor. For example; for a machine with a torque of 1 kg*cm and a gear ratio of 50:1, the current drawn may be around 700 mA, whereas during steady state operation with no load, 40 mA is required. This is almost 20 times higher. The offered products include built-in gears, thanks to which the motors are able, for example, to offer much greater force (at the cost of a smaller number of rotations). A very important parameter influencing the capabilities of the motor is the type of gearing; we offer 5:1, 10:1, 30:1, 50:1, 75:1, 100:1, 150:1, 210:1, 250:1 and 298:1. Torque parameters are also important, we offer 0.1 kg*cm, 0.3 kg*cm, 0.5 kg*cm, 0.6 kg*cm, 0.9 kg*cm, 1.1 kg*cm, 1.2 kg*cm, 1.4 kg*cm, 1.6 kg*cm, 1.9 kg*cm, 2.2 kg*cm, 2.9 kg*cm, 3.2 kg*cm, 3.6 kg*cm and 4.3 kg*cm. We offer motors that do 45 RPM, 75 RPM, 120 RPM, 140 RPM, 170 RPM, 200 RPM, 210 RPM, 220 RPM, 250 RPM, 290 RPM, 320 RPM, 400 RPM, 420 RPM, 625 RPM, 730 RPM, 2000 RPM and even 3000 RPM (depending on the particular model).
