Comprehensive engine control modules that do not require a lot of space!
In the Botland programmable electronics online store you will find a wide range of different products. Above there are various modules, which in particular are responsible for the mechanics of created projects.
By choosing the right pad (Arduino Shield) it will be easier to control motors and servos. Depending on the specific product, it will be possible to program the device to travel in different directions. Many of our Arduino Shields are equipped with advanced integrated circuits. Particularly noteworthy are integrated circuits in the form of L293D, L289P or DRV8835. Their structure allows them to use the transistors connected in 'H' bridge. Advanced technological infrastructure means there are a lot of awesome programming possibilities. Once bought – and using well – Arduino Shields will last for years giving you great fun !
What you should know before buying Arduino Shields?
There are so many different Arduino boards that if you are at the very beginning of the adventure with electronics, it is easy to get lost in it. For this reason, we have divided our offer into various categories and subcategories that can be easily found. In addition, we invite you to contact us – we will be pleased to get to know with your individual needs and will be happy to advise you what Arduino tiles are recommended to buy. The following tips may also be helpful for you!
If you want to expand your set in order to make a fully remote-controlled moving machine, you will need to purchase engines and engine controllers. Remember, however, that before buying, you should always check exactly which printed circuit board you have. Then verify the parameters of each overlay (Arduino Shields). To this end, you need to pay attention primarily to the pin-out of a particular shield, its operating voltage and the software library used by the overlay.
An important parameter is the number of channels. We distinguish single-channel, two-channel and even sixteen-channel Arduino Shields overlays. Remember that the more channels the hardware has, the more engines it can support simultaneously!
Arduino overlays with embedded software
Many programmable electronics manufacturers, such as Cytron, provide free software. They can be uploaded directly to Arduino in order to control the device's engiges. Source code allows simple implementation of engine control. You can easily check the engine temperature, and – if necessary – manually change the direction of rotation (however, remember: always read the instructions first and follow the instructions).
Arduino Shield tiles are dedicated to control DC motors and servos. There are many more possibilities! You can use Arduino overlays to control contactor coils, relays, LED lighting and stepper motors. Servo and motor controllers from the Arduino Shield series will allow you to build CNC machines, robots and other electric vehicles with wide control possibilities.
