Product description: Arduino Nano Motor Carrier - motor driver for Arduino Nano 33 IoT - ABX00041
An overlay based on the ATSAMD11 ARM Cortex-M0+ chip, containing the MP6522 DC motor driver and IMU sensor, designed for the Arduino Nano 33 IoT module . It is designed to help students prototype and create their own designs using four DC motors with 12 V and up to 500 mA current consumption per channel. The board also features 3-pin connectors for connecting other modules, four servo connectors, two encoder ports, and a 9-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer. The Nano Motor Carrier Board also features a Li-Ion single cell battery charger circuit.
Main features of Arduino Nano Motor Carrier Board
- Designed for the Nano - the motor controller features a socket compatible with the connectors of the Arduino Nano 33 IoT board.
- Based on ATSAMD11 - the module is equipped with ATMSAD11 microcontroller with ARM Cortex M0+ core for automated control of some outputs.
- Power source - an external power source must be used to power the motors, a single cell Li-Ion battery can be used for this purpose through a dedicated connector.
