Raspberry Pi 4B modules and kits
In this category, we offer three versions of the Raspberry Pi 4B module and various types of sets (both containing the module and those with only accessories). Microcomputers in this category come in three varieties that differ in the amount of RAM - 1 GB, 2 GB and 4 GB RAM in the LPDDR4 version. The shape and dimensions of the tile have remained unchanged compared to previous versions - they are still the size of a credit card. The power unit of the device is now a stronger and faster, quad-core, 64-bit ARM-8 Cortex-A72 processor, which clocks at 1.5 GHz. Much better processor parameters allowed the use of more RAM.
Connectivity at the highest level on Raspberry Pi
The device has also changed in terms of the connector arrangement. New or updated standards have emerged. The power port is now in line with the latest trends - it is USB Type C. The power supply voltage recommended by the manufacturer is 5 V, while the current should not exceed 3 A. The user can now use up to 4 USB Type A connectors (including 2 x very fast USB 3.0 and 2 x USB 2.0). Connectivity at speeds of up to 2 Mb/s is possible thanks to the latest version of the Bluetooth module - 5.0, and the updated, full Gigabit version enables transmission at speeds of up to 1000 Mb/s using cables. In addition, the user can quickly connect the device to two monitors and play 4K images thanks to the micro HDMI ports. The board also has a built-in WiFi module - 802.11ac (according to the latest official naming arrangements, it is WiFi 5), which, using the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, allows the user to connect the device to the network. Raspberry Pi, of course, has communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI and UART, and memory is provided by a micro SD card. You can install the Raspbian, Openelec, RaspBMC, OSMC Linux or even Windows 10 LoT operating system on the device.
Raspberry Pi 4B modules and kits - what do we offer?
The offer in this category includes three versions of Raspberry Pi 4B boards with different RAM sizes (1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB). In addition, we offer various types of Raspberry Pi accessory kits - both for users who already have the device and for those who are just planning to purchase it. A set of accessories for the course from the FORBOT website (Raspberry Pi 4 course) is very practical - it contains all the necessary tools and elements to execute the commands given during learning. There are also several different sets available - including those with microcomputers in all three versions, assembled and officially signed by the FORBOT forum. The Botland store also offers its own sets with an original charger, housing, high-quality cables (microHDMI and network cable) and a micro SD card. There are also kits coming directly from the board manufacturer, kits introducing the world of IoT (Internet of Things) and the Grove Base Kit, a set of modules and sensors ready to be connected to Raspberry Pi.
