We invite all masters and electronics categories in which we offer the mechanical sensors, using the end position, ie the so-called limit switches. We offer you a selected range, attractive for its price, but also high quality. The range of switches in various sizes, krańcówki plain, with long or short levers, steel coil, straight and curved, the mini-version and the corresponding system Grove. Each, of course, will pick up in Botland something for yourself!

Limit switches
What are limit switches offered at Botland? There are many types of limit switches themselves and they have many applications. The most popular and widely used on the market are electromechanical lever limit switches, which dominate mechanics and robotics. The main task of limit switches is to detect a preset position of a moving element and to react to reaching a specified position by switching on or off the power supply. Switches, apart from basic operation, may have many additional functions, e.g. signalling. they offered in the shop Botland switches, limit switches? Switches, in addition to the main action, can have numerous additional functions, e.g. alarm.
Types of limit switches / end switches
There are numerous ways of dividing limit switches. Distinguishing the types of limit switches, it is worth starting from the criterion of the way they detect obstacles. Electromechanical - the most common - have the simplest construction and are reliable under normal conditions. They usually detect an obstacle by means of a movable lever connected to an electric switch located in the housing. Another type is the magnetic sensor. Instead of levers, magnets are used in these. When they approach each other, a current is induced, which is perceived as approaching an obstacle. These types of limit switches are particularly precise but susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The last type is optical sensors. Made up of a receiver and transmitter, the system is susceptible to dirt, which can cause it to malfunction. These sensors are generally used in robotics, which require particular precision and error-free operation.
