If you’re planning to use the Raspberry Pi in a professional project, you won’t want to miss out on a full review of the available models and expansions. The Botland store has the Raspberry Pi CM5, which offers advanced specifications, including a 2.4 GHz Cortex-A72 processor and memory options from 2 GB to 8 GB LPDDR4X. It’s worth remembering that the RPi CM5 offers significant performance improvements over its predecessors, making it suitable for large-scale AI and industrial automation applications.
Raspberry Pi CM5 - RAM, eMMC, communication
The Raspberry Pi CM5 offers three RAM options: 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB LPDDR4X. When it comes to storage, models are available with 8, 16, 32, or 64GB eMMC memory, which provide fast, reliable performance without the need for microSD cards. In terms of communication, the CM5 offers Gigabit Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, supporting fast access to networks and devices. The predecessor CM4 offered a maximum of 8GB RAM and 32GB eMMC. In terms of communication, the versions have been updated to Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. This is important because the new Wi-Fi 6 and BT 5.2 standards in the CM5 offer higher transmission speeds, greater stability, and energy efficiency. Wi-Fi 6 enables better support for multiple devices on crowded networks and improves data transfer in high-load environments. Bluetooth 5.2, in turn, guarantees a higher range, better sound quality and the ability to simultaneously operate several peripheral devices, especially with the above-mentioned IoT and automation applications in mind.
The latest Raspberry Pi CM5
CM5 is one of the best Raspberry Pi for production and industry. Cortex-A72 2.4 GHz is an improvement in performance and computing power in the ratio of 1.5 GHz in CM4 and 1.2 GHz in CM3+. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 means better throughput, greater stability, better quality of audio systems and at the same time lower energy consumption even with heavy network traffic. eMMC 64 GB means instant access to data, which cannot always be provided by traditional microSD cards.
