Climate sensor for humid rooms
Sonoff SNZB-02WD is a ZigBee 3.0 temperature and humidity sensor in an IP65 housing that shows current readings on a 2.2-inch LCD. It measures temperature with ±0.2 °C accuracy and humidity with ±2 % RH accuracy, and an internal breathable membrane protects the sensing element from water and mist.
The sensor connects to a ZigBee gateway, e.g. Sonoff ZB Bridge-P or SMLIGHT SLZB-06mg24 with Home Assistant. In the eWeLink app you can view charts from the last 180 days, export the data and set up notifications about unusual readings. You can attach the housing to metal with the magnet or hang it on a lanyard.

How the manufacturer tests IP65 protection
The IP65 rating means resistance to water jets. In the test, water from a 6.3 mm nozzle flows at 12.5 l/min and hits the housing from all sides for at least 3 minutes.

What ZigBee gateway do I need?
The sensor works with ZigBee 3.0 gateways, e.g. Sonoff ZB Bridge-P, NSPanel Pro and iHost, as well as with ZBDongle adapters and other gateways in Home Assistant.
Does the sensor work in frost?
Yes, it works from -20 °C to +60 °C. At -20 °C the measurement error rises to ±0.7 °C and the battery capacity drops noticeably. Once it warms up, readings return to normal.
How do I change °C to °F?
Remove the battery cover with a coin and press the button underneath twice. The default unit is °C.
