Chargers for mobile devices
One of the largest groups of products designed to plug into the cigarette lighter socket are car chargers and power adapters. They usually contain more than one USB socket, allowing you to charge your smartphone, tablet and other mobile devices at the same time. Some of them also have adapters or even ready-made, integrated cables with a micro USB connector. The output voltage of car power adapters is 5 V and the current usually ranges from 2 to over 4 A. It's worth paying attention to the type of USB connector used in a given model - sometimes these are USB-A sockets, but you can also find chargers with USB-C terminals. Many chargers have - importantly - surge protection. Some models are compatible with Raspberry Pi minicomputers and can be used to power Raspberry Pi chips.
When high voltages are needed
The output voltage of most car power supplies is 5V, but if you need much higher voltages? In that case, we of course put car inverters at your disposal. You will find a wide selection in this category. They allow you to use 230 volts by plugging the inverter into the cigarette lighter socket. So even when you're out in the field, you can connect devices to them that normally use mains electricity - such as a laptop charger or a cash register. With our inverters, you can obtain up to 3000 W of instantaneous power and up to 2500 W of continuous power. They are equipped with short-circuit and overvoltage protection and even protection against discharging the car battery.
