Product description: Plasma 2350 - RGB LED addressable controller - PiMoroni PIM723
Plasma 2350 is a versatile controller powered and programmed via USB Type-C , designed to control addressable LED strips , such as WS2812 / Neopixel . Equipped with a RP2350A microcontroller with two ARM Cortex M33 cores clocked at up to 150 MHz and 4 MB of Flash memory , it provides smooth and fast operation. Thanks to the screw connectors, connecting the LED strips is simple and safe. USB Type-C is used for both powering and programming the device, providing up to 3 A of current, which is enough to power a significant number of LEDs. Additionally, the controller has a user button, a reset button and a built-in RGB diode, which makes it easy to test and change lighting effects. The Qw / ST connector allows easy connection of Qwiic or STEMMA QT modules, expanding the functionality of the device. Plasma 2350 is fully assembled and does not require soldering, making it an ideal solution for those looking for an easy-to-use LED controller.

Special features of the controller
- RP2350A microcontroller - equipped with two ARM Cortex M33 cores. With a maximum clock speed of 150 MHz and 520 KB of built-in SRAM memory, the microcontroller guarantees fast and smooth operation even in more demanding projects
- Compatibility with a variety of LED strips - the driver supports a wide range of 5V LED strips, such as WS2812 / Neopixel, SK6812 and APA102 / Dotstar and SK9822. This versatility makes the Plasma 2350 perfect for a variety of applications, from decorative lighting effects to more advanced visual installations
- Screw connectors for easy connection - the controller is equipped with solid connectors that make connecting the LED strips much easier. This makes the connection stable and the risk of accidental disconnection is minimized
- Built-in RGB diode - there is a multi-color RGB diode on the board, which is used to signal the status and also to test the light settings
- Compact dimensions - the controller is extremely easy to integrate into various projects, even where space is limited
