The CamModule SC850SL from M5Stack is a compact and powerful camera module equipped with an 8MP SmartSens SC850SL CMOS image sensor, designed specifically for the LLM630 Compute Kit platform. It supports 4K video recording at 60 fps , has a wide dynamic range (HDR) , excellent low-light sensitivity , and an integrated AI-ISP function that improves image quality using artificial intelligence algorithms. The camera is ideal for advanced projects in the fields of machine vision , surveillance, drone inspection, and urban systems.

Compatible with LLM630 Compute Kit
The SC850SL module is designed specifically for full interoperability with the LLM630 Compute Kit . Thanks to its MIPI CSI-2 interface and 200mm FPC cable, it enables easy integration and flexible placement within a chassis or robotic system. The camera works seamlessly with software, libraries, and demos available for the LLM630, supporting the StackFlow API and AI algorithms (e.g., YOLO, DepthAnything).
The set includes a 200 mm long FPC cable.
The module transmits images to the LLM630 via the MIPI CSI-2 interface.
Programming and integration with AI
Thanks to its compatibility with the LLM630 and support for the MIPI CSI-2 standard, the SC850SL module can be easily integrated into AI-based projects. It supports applications such as object detection, image classification, visual navigation , and 3D mapping . AI-ISP enables automatic image enhancement in real time, utilizing a portion of the NPU's resources. Programming is possible using pre-built libraries and frameworks (e.g., StackFlow API), and users have access to documentation, examples, and source code.
