Aeotec Zi-Stick Configuration
Installing the ZigBee controller is quick and intuitive. Simply connect the device to the USB port of a host device such as a Raspberry Pi , PC, or laptop. The operating system will usually automatically install drivers and detect the device as a serial port. In Windows, the Zi-Stick appears as a COM port, in Linux as ttyUSB, and in macOS as a USB Modem device. Then, in your home automation software, you select the appropriate communication port and enable ZigBee integration. The adapter works with Home Assistant, openHAB, ZigBee2MQTT, Node-RED , and other DIY platforms, allowing you to create your own scenes, automations, and rules.
