The arrival on the market in February 2016 of Odroid minicomputers was a real revolution among embedded systems, especially thanks to the use of high-performance processors with high computing power. In addition to Odroid minicomputer modules, we also offer a range of many accessories dedicated to it, among them enclosures. Mounting your Odroid in a dedicated case equipped with slots for connectors and ventilation grilles, you not only take care of the aesthetic side of this minicomputer, but the case also protects the electronics of the minicomputer from unwanted contamination from the outside.

Why is it important to use enclosures for electronic devices
Cases are used both in portable and stationary devices. They have many practical functions, e.g. they allow to move the device from one place to another in a convenient way. At the stage of design, assembly and operation, the housing constitutes a skeleton for subassemblies of the device. Proper mechanical assembly of the device's components in its housing is one of the factors which guarantees its proper operation. In addition, the use of enclosures has a protective function - the enclosure covers the internal components, protecting them from dirt from the external environment.
Special cases dedicated to Odroid modules
Just like any electronic device, you can also install PCBs with Odroid modules in an enclosure. To this end, Botland has prepared for you a range of enclosures designed specifically for the mechanical design of the Odroid minicomputer. Enclosures are available as metal or plastic models. Ventilation holes ensure proper ventilation and cooling of the minicomputer. The cases are available in black, black and white, but there are also transparent and black-transparent versions. An interesting design is our Odroid C2 minicomputer case, which is designed to be mechanically mounted on the back of a monitor or TV.
