You need to know that the device has no built-in memory, so you can't store anything on it unless you have the right memory card. There is a special pocket on the board that is designed for microSD cards. How to choose the right memory card for Raspberry Pi?

Raspberry Pi memory cards vary in capacity, read and write speed, so they have different parameters that you can precisely match to your needs. First of all, the memory card should correspond to the purpose of the device. Therefore, before buying, consider how and for what purpose you will use Raspberry. An 8 GB memory card, as well as a low write and read speed, will be a good choice for those who plan to use it with a simple mobile robot. We will need much more memory for a device designed for playback of full-length, high-resolution films. Then a memory card with a capacity of up to 32 GB, read speeds of up to 100 MB/sec and write speeds of up to 15 MB/sec will be a better choice for you.
