Glue and bonding machines for various applications
The Botland store offers more and less versatile adhesives, which can be used in everyday repairs as well as in specialist projects. The available adhesives include products containing cyanoacrylate. We can find it in adhesives of different consistencies, both rare and dense. We can find it, among others, in Super Glue, which is one of the best known adhesives, with universal use and relatively high efficiency. These types of adhesives are characterized by a very short bonding time. This process can be further accelerated, which is used by professional electronics. A spray activator is designed for this purpose. If you are gluing larger elements with uneven surfaces and shapes, it is worth to opt for epoxy resins. Before using the adhesive on a particular surface for the first time, always check its action in an invisible place. If there are no undesirable reactions, you can use the adhesive for the right work.
If you often work with glue and use it in larger quantities, and you want high precision, use a fusing press, a commonly known glue gun. In order to use it, you will need a cartridge, i.e. a special glue in a stick, which we place in the indicated place. There is a mechanism that pushes the glue towards the heated head. Through it, the glue gets out. Once it has cooled down, the connection is durable, but relatively flexible. Fusing machines are also well suited for joining elements that do not come into contact with each other.
Effective bonding
How durable a bond is achieved depends on the properties of the selected adhesive as well as the environmental conditions and the correctness of the process. It happens that the elements connected together can be easily separated, despite its very good properties. The reason for this is usually a bad fit of the adhesive type to the surface or simply the application. For uneven surfaces it is best to use a dense adhesive, the liquid will not "stop" in unevenness, it will influence them. However, a rare texture is a good choice when bonding details with smooth surfaces. We also focus on the flexibility of the glue. If the parts are under stress and vibration, a two-component adhesive or an epoxy resin should be chosen. There are also materials that are resistant to adhesive and will not adhere to it. These include silicone and teflon. In such cases it is necessary to use dedicated substances which are based solely on their unique properties and characteristics.
We offer a wide range of adhesives that have found application in both everyday and professional use. These are adhesives of dense and rare consistency, two-component agents and epoxy resins. Moreover, there are fusing machines at your disposal, which improve the process of joining elements.
