Socket with energy monitoring and Matter
Shelly Plug M Gen3 switches devices up to 3000 W on and off and measures their energy consumption, and you can add it to Google Home, Alexa and Apple Home via Matter.
You insert the plug into a type E or F socket, and you connect your device to the type F (Schuko) outlet. The socket connects directly to WiFi, without a gateway, and schedules and timers run locally, even when you have no internet access.
The built-in Bluetooth works as a gateway for Shelly BLU sensors, e.g. Shelly BLU Motion ZB, and the socket protects itself against overheating and overload. This version is white, and the black version has the same parameters, a weight of 73 g and dimensions of 46 x 46 x 85 mm.

Notification when the laundry is done
Shelly Plug M Gen3 detects the end of a washing cycle by the drop in power draw and then sends a notification. With a separate Shelly temperature sensor, the socket can also switch a heater on and off according to the room temperature. The measurement applies to one outlet, and the consumption history lets you find the devices that draw the most energy.

Up to 3000 W with a resistive load, e.g. a heater, that is at a current of up to 13 A and a voltage of 240 V.
Do I need a gateway?
No. The socket connects directly to your WiFi network, and Matter lets you add it to other systems.
