Product description: Teensy 3.5 ARM Cortex M4 with connectors - Arduino compatible - SparkFun DEV-14056
Small size module with great possibilities. Equipped with 32-bit microcontroller with ARM Cortex M4 120 MHz core, 512 kB Flash, 192 kB RAM. It has 62 I/O pins of which 20 PWM channels, 25 analog inputs and 2 outputs, DMA controller and popular communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, I2S, CAN. The pins work with 3.3 V but tolerate 5 V.
Teensy has an efficient 3.3 V regulator which can directly supply other modules, e.g. the popular ESP8266WiFi chip . This allows the board to maintain its small size. The kit comes with soldered golpin connectors.
Inputs/outputs
The chip has 62 I/O pins. All of them have the ability to handle interrupts. In between there are 25 high resolution analog inputs, 20 PWM outputs, 14 timers, 6 UART interfaces, 3 SPI interfaces, 3x I2C, I2S, CAN Bus, an RTC module, 16 DMA channels and an Ethernet module.

Programming
Module has bootloader installed, so you can program it using built-in microUSB connector, without need of external programmer. You can use any C language environment or, after uploading teensyduino extension, via Arduino IDE.

Teensy 3.5 ARM Cortex M4 SparkFun DEV-14056 is an Arduino compatible board with ready-to-use connectors, which can be used in various electronic projects. Small size and low weight of the product allow to use it even in places where miniaturization of each of used elements is necessary.
The board can be programmed using Arduino IDE (teensyduino extension) and C language. Teensy 3.5 ARM Cortex M4 from SparkFun also has a number of other useful features, including a micro SD card port, random number generator, real-time RTC clock or I2S communication for high quality audio transfer.
