Description
Metro 328 is fully compatible with popular Arduino Uno module. This means that it can be programmed throughthe Arduino IDEusing available libraries. The Arduino Shields will also be collaborating with the module from Adafruit.
On board is the Atmega328 microcontroller with the distribution of leads compatible with Arduino Uno. Changes that you may notice when using the module, are:
- MicroUSB connector - the big USB-B connector that has been replaced by a small convenient microUSB slot
- The board's color was changed from blue to black
- The supply voltage from the DC connector is from 7 to 9 V
To run Metro 328, it is necessary to connect the system to computer usingmicroUSB cable. Then, inthe Arduino IDE, choose the Arduino Uno board. |
Power
The module can be powered viamicroUSB cableand an external device, for example, the AC adapter, the battery or the rechargeable battery. Switching the power sources is automatic. The power supply is connected to a standard DC slot. Rechargeable battery or other source should be connected to the pins of the POWER connector.
Programming
Creating and installing the software is allowed by the free environment supplied by the manufacturer. Implemented bootloader allows you to send the program directly viathe microUSB cable. ISCP connector enables connection of an externalAVR programmer.
