Product description: DRV8835 - dual-channel 11 V / 1.2 A motor driver
The module based on the Texas Instruments DRV8835 system is a two-channel DC motor driver. The advantage of the system are extremely small dimensions - the board is the size of a DIP 14-pin housing. The module can control motors powered with the voltage in the range of 2.0 V to 11 V with a continuous current consumption of 1.2 V. The channels of the controller can be connected to increase the current efficiency - up to 2.4 A. The kit includes the module and goldpin connectors.

Miniature DC motor driver module
Pololu 2135 is an extremely miniaturized driver module for two DC motors with a continuous current consumption of up to 1.2 A and a supply voltage from 2.0 V to 11 V. The dimensions of the printed circuit board are only 10.2 x 17.8 mm, and its weight reaches 0 , 5 g - PCB has a size comparable to the DIP14 housing.
The module is based on the integrated, high-performance DRV8835 controller from Texas Instruments. The product has built-in protection against reverse power polarity and too low or too high voltage. Two pairs of digital inputs are used to control the direction and rotational speed of the motors, operating in a separate section supplied with a voltage ranging from 2 V to 7 V.
Sample applications
DRV8835 - dual-channel 11V / 1.2A motor driver - Pololu 2135 isperfect for the construction of miniature, lightweight mobile robots - both wheeled and track-driven, as well as floating or walking robots. It is also suitable for all kinds of mechanisms powered by bipolar stepper motors.
The spacing of the mounting pads is compatible with the raster of classic goldpins (100 mils, i.e. 2.54 mm), thanks to which it fits the contact plates, which greatly facilitates prototyping and conducting experiments even before mounting the controller into the final structure.
