Product description: AS7341 - 10-channel visible light/colour Qwiic/I2C spectrum sensor - Adafruit 4698.
The module is equipped with a10-channelspectrumsensor, which is the spectrum of visible light. With it you canmeasureandcharacterize howdifferent materials absorb and reflect light waves. It allows to detect the current amount of light and the amount of light within the different wavelengths. The sensor communicates via theI2Cinterface. The supply voltage is between 3 Vand 5 V.
The AS7341 AMS module is much moreprecise than thehuman eye, as color detection is performed on 8 bands ofcoloredlight. It also includes white and near-infrared light sensors and sensors specifically designed to detect flickeratspecific frequencies.
Arduino compatible product A detailed description of the connection together with a sample code can be found in theuserguide. |
Module outputs
The AS7341 module has special leads to which the appropriate connectors must be soldered.goldpin(included in the kit). Alternatively, it can be connected with STEMMA QT /Qwiic.
