SENSORS
From a technical point of view, sensors are devices that provide information about the appearance of a particular stimulus or exceeding a given base value. There are many types of sensors. Some were created for measuring temperature (e.g. thermal monitoring systems), others for measuring liquids in given devices. Still others measure the degree of deviation of given objects from the norm, and some sensors can intelligently diagnose how other devices work.

Types of sensors available on offer
Depending on the needs and application, we can distinguish many types of sensors . Who among us wouldn't like to automate many devices so that they can be turned on or kept up to date with current weather conditions without much effort? The Botland store offers alarm sensors that can save our lives and health because they warn us in time about threats, e.g. in the form of leaking gas. We also have barometric sensors that allow us to measure air pressure. You can also purchase air purity sensors from us, which prove to be irreplaceable in the case of allergy sufferers or respiratory problems. We also offer sound and motion sensors that enable the implementation of devices that respond to these functions, e.g. games or turning on and off receivers. The sensor is a fundamental element of many electronics projects.
Sensor and other elements of electronic projects
The sensors described above are just a drop in the ocean of the possibilities offered by these devices. You will also find gas sensors, pressure sensors, limit sensors, medical sensors, proximity sensors, weather sensors, liquid level sensors, motion sensors, temperature sensors, distance sensors, humidity sensors, magnetic sensors, and even light and color sensors. If we want to install a lamp that will turn on before entering the house, we recommend using a motion sensor. If you want to install a security system that will inform us, for example, about a house break-in, we also have alarm sensors. Everyone will find something for themselves, depending on the effect we want to achieve. If you have any questions or problems with the selection, please contact our technical department. We will listen, advise and help!
Sensors - FAQ
This is a very broad term and it is difficult to find precise information under this heading. An electronics engineer or person with a specific application in mind will mention a specific type of electronic sensor (sensor), for example one of the ones we have listed below. Broadly speaking, a sensor is a device that provides information from the environment or the operation of some equipment under the influence of a stimulus.
The electronic sensors include: accelerometers, alarm sensors, pressure sensors, air purity sensors, sound sensors, gesture sensors, limit sensors, gas sensors, light sensors, magnetic sensors, pressure sensors, reflection sensors, distance sensors, movement sensors, current sensors, humidity sensors... There are plenty of them, including special series of Gravity and Grove ecosystems cooperating with Arduino and Raspberry Pi .
For the safety of household members, you should first consider purchasing detectors protecting against fire or gas leaks (carbon monoxide, smoke, natural gas and, if necessary, also LPG) sensors. When building a smart home installation, you can expand the scope to include temperature, humidity and lighting sensors.
