Pololu H2 36v11 CS is a single-channel high-power DC motor driver that allows precise and bidirectional control of large DC motors . Thanks to the use of discrete MOSFETs and modern H-bridge architecture, the module provides high performance in a small size (33 x 20 mm). It has reverse polarity protection, an error signal output and a current sensor that allows current load monitoring. Compatibility with 3.3 V and 5 V logic makes it a versatile tool in projects with microcontrollers.

Attention!
The battery voltage during charging can be significantly higher than its nominal value, therefore the manufacturer recommends that the maximum nominal voltage of the battery should not exceed 36 V. The use of 48 V batteries is not recommended unless appropriate measures are taken to limit the peak voltage.

Description of the controller pins
The controller is equipped with a set of pins that facilitate integration with the control system and the engine. On the power supply side, there are pins VIN (engine power input), OUTA and OUTB (engine outputs), and GND . Additional pins VM, + and − are used to connect a filter capacitor. On the logical side, there are pins: PWMA and PWMB (PWM inputs), SLP (sleep), FLT (error signaling), CS (current sensor output), GND and VCC (logic power supply).
Connecting the controller to the system
Connections to the motor and power supply are made via through holes compatible with 5 mm terminal blocks (included) or via rows of 0.1" holes for mounting on breadboards . Logical leads can be soldered to the included 1 x 8 pin goldpin strip. To ensure stable operation, it is recommended to connect a filter capacitor with a capacity of several hundred µF directly to the VM and GND leads. For full functionality, only two PWM signals are required: PWMA and PWMB. You should also ensure proper cooling at higher loads.
