High power motor controllers
High-power motor controllers offered by Botland are dedicated for DC motors with high current consumption. HighPower motor controllers are equipped with many additional options, making it easier for them to control such large loads. Especially in the controllers with the highest maximum allowable output current, the cooling systems for the active elements of the controller are very extensive. These modules are equipped with a wide range of control interfaces, from the simplest digital lines, through systems equipped with control interfaces such as SPI or I2C, popular in microcontrollers, to advanced motor controllers equipped with USB interfaces or enabling radio control.
Modules with integrated motor controller
Some of the HighPower motor controllers have built-in speed controllers and do not require external microcontrollers or a single board computer to control the motor speed. These types of motor controllers are ideal for powering drive systems in, for example, machine tools - the spindles of grinders or drills. They work at the same speed during the whole technological process. Even when drilling a hole in the wall, there is no need to change the speed. On the other hand, if you want to drill a hole in a wooden board or aluminium profile with the same drill, you need to choose a different robot. Here, motor controllers with a built-in controller, controlled by a knob, are ideal.
