This dual-channel DC motor controller from Cytron features a SmartDrive function that supports four different communication interfaces, including UART, PWM, RC, and analog output . This makes the controller ideal for building robots controlled by an RC remote control . The controller supports motors powered by voltages ranging from 7V to 35V and a current of 30A per channel (up to 80A peak current). The board measures 101 x 96 x 42mm.

The MDDS30 motor controller is equipped with the SmartDriveDuo function, which allows communication with the controller via four different interfaces, including UART, PWM, RC (radio control), and analog output . Security features of the SmartDriveDuo MDDS30 dual-channel controller
The module features overcurrent protection , protecting the controller from damage if the motor stalls or if an oversized motor is connected. If the motor attempts to draw more current, the controller limits it to maximum. The controller also features overtemperature protection . If the board temperature increases, the current limit is reduced. Additionally, the controller is equipped with an undervoltage and overvoltage switch, which is used to disable the controller's output when the output voltage drops below the lower threshold or above the upper threshold.
