Product description: Gravity - H2S hydrogen sulfide sensor - I2C / UART - factory calibrated - DFRobot SEN0467
A sensor designed to measure the concentration of hydrogen sulfide H2S in air. Manufactured by DFRobot, it has a factory calibrated probe that allows you to make precise measurements in a short time. The hydrogen sulfide measurement range is from 0 ppm to 100 ppm. The module supports three interfaces: analog, I2C and UART and has as many as 32 I2C addresses to choose from. It exhibits strong anti-interference properties, has very good sensitivity and high measurement stability.
Contents of the kit
- H2S hydrogen sulfide sensor - adapter board
- H2S sensor probe
- Gravity 4-pin connection cable
Product compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi
The manufacturer has prepared a detailed user guide, which includes, among other things, connection instructions and sample program code.
A series of pre-calibrated sensors from DFRobot
DFRobot has developed a series of pre-calibrated sensors that work in the same way and have the same data format, so they can work in parallel. The use of several sensors at the same time will allow to create many advanced devices, including those with industrial applications. The series consists of up to 12 modules that can detect gases such as CO, O2, NH3, H2S, NO2, HCL, H2, PH3, SO2, O3, CL2, HF.
How to detect hydrogen sulfide? What is the smell of hydrogen sulfide?
Hydrogen sulfide is a gas that can not always be detected by smell - only in high concentrations it gives off the smell of rotten eggs. It is dangerous even in small quantities, and attacks the mucous membranes and nervous tissues, so it is important to monitor its concentration with appropriate sensors and detectors.
