Simple sleeves that will save you your nerves
When assembling delicate stranded cables, the use of appropriately selected terminal sleeves is not only an elegant and practical solution, but also significantly facilitates servicing or changes in the installation. For example, connecting a thin wire directly to a screw connector (terminal, i.e. the popular ARK cube) may be too insecure (in some contact designs, the wire may be pressed too loosely). In addition, you must take into account the risk of a short circuit when single, thin wires sticking out from the rest of the cable come into contact with conductive elements near the connection point. Soldering (bleaching) the ends of the wires is a labor-intensive task and poses a risk of damage to the end part of the insulation due to overheating. Crimping ferrules eliminate these problems and enable professional termination of cables when assembling or repairing the device. Connection sleeves are a simple, safe and, above all, effective solution to assembly problems, including: thin cables.
How many applications - so many different tips
In a situation where connections need to be made inside the device, e.g. supplying mains power or connecting a higher power actuator, it is worth using MDD ("blades") or FDD cable terminations (connectors with rolled edges, compatible with MDD terminals). In turn, to connect the end of the cable to a screw or rivet, it is worth using an eyelet connector with an appropriate diameter. Ring terminals are available in many color variants to facilitate identification of a specific circuit.
Spade terminals are suitable for use with some larger screw connectors. In turn, axial cable connectors are a type of connector that allows for safe and reliable connection of two cable ends without the need to perform appropriate insulation yourself.
Tip sets and dedicated tools
In a professional workshop or in a home electronics workshop - it is always worth having a supply of necessary tips for all applications at hand. Our offer includes both tubular terminations for single wires (with a cross-section ranging from 0.5 mm2 to 4 mm2) and terminals used to connect two cables in one terminal block (double terminals with flattened, widened insulation are used for this purpose). We offer both male and female connectors with or without heat-shrink insulation. Non-insulated connectors are used, among others, in places where there is no risk of overvoltage. The connectors category also includes pin sockets - goldpin , mounting connectors , crocodile connectors and many others.
Cable lugs - additional information
We also have sets of various types of cable endings. These sets contain 175 pieces or 100 pieces with a dedicated, universal hand crimper. It is worth knowing that the correct selection of cable ends not only significantly facilitates and speeds up the assembly of the entire installation, increases safety and reliability, but also (often) reduces material costs. It is worth remembering that the type of connector should be matched to the specific application each time, so that the connection will be stable and durable.
