The Atomic Audio-3.5 Base is an audio base for Atom series controllers, designed for voice recognition, audio playback, and interactive voice devices . The module integrates the ES8311 audio codec , a MEMS microphone , an NS4150B power amplifier, and a standard 3.5mm audio connector with a CTIA-standard 4-segment TRRS connector. This allows for both audio output and microphone input. The ES8311 codec enables 24-bit audio processing and supports sampling rates from 16 kHz to 64 kHz . Communication takes place via the I2S interface, enabling high-quality audio signal transmission and processing. The built-in MEMS microphone is optimized for automatic speech recognition, and the integrated speaker allows for convenient playback of audio messages. The module is not compatible with Atom Voice.
