Spectrum PLA - a durable and biodegradable filament
Spectrum PLA Silver Star filament is made of polylactic acid. Polylactide is an organic polymer, and its sources include corn starch. Spectrum PLA Silver Star filament has numerous practical advantages. These include high mechanical strength, low melting temperature in the printing process, as well as easy post-processing, e.g. by grinding. For these reasons, PLA filaments are one of the most popular materials used in the 3D printing process for consumer and professional use. In addition, the Spectrum PLA Silver Star filament is also friendly for the environment and does not emit toxic fumes while printing.
Mixing PLA filament with other materials
The particular popularity of PLA filament is influenced by its very good mechanical and thermodynamic properties, biodegradability, but in addition, Spectrum PLA filaments can be mixed with other materials. Its physical properties allow it to be used as a coating that adds gloss to the surface of the printed object, and also increases flexibility of this object. Spectrum PLA Silver Star filament can be mixed with wood, carbon and metal, blending into its color structure in a hardly noticeable way.
Filaments are hygroscopic, meaning they absorb moisture. Therefore, breaking the airtight vacuum packaging permanently reduces the quality and value of the product. For this reason, if an unpacked item is returned, the refund amount will be proportionally reduced. This does not apply to returns resulting from manufacturing defects in the material, such as damaged or cut filament. Please carefully check the color and material type on the label before opening the foil packaging. |

30 days to return, without giving a reason
