Product description: SparkFun MOSFET Power Switch and Buck Regulator - power switch and step-down converter - Low-Side - SparkFun COM-23979
The SparkFun MOSFET Power Switch and Buck Regulator combines two functionalities - it works simultaneously as a step-down regulator and a low-voltage switch . It is equipped with an LMR14203 (buck regulator) configured for a 3.3 V output, and an N-channel MOSFET (PSMN7R0-100BS) configured as a Low-Side Switch. This allows you to power your project with a voltage of up to 12 V / 10 A , while simultaneously providing 3.3 V to the logic part of the control board. The manufacturer has equipped the module with a number of interfaces and useful connectors through which you can connect the power supply to a selected microcontroller (Arduino, micro:bit or Raspberry Pi).

Main features of the module
- LMR14203 buck regulator : configurable to 3.3V output, allows powering low-voltage modules.
- N-channel MOSFET : Low-Side switch allows control of loads up to 10 A.
- Wide supply voltage range : can be powered from 4.5V to 12V, which ensures versatility in various applications.
- Simple integration : thanks to the PTH pinouts, the module can be easily integrated into existing systems.
- Surge Protection : Built-in flyback diode protects against surges generated by inductive loads.
The manufacturer recommends not to load the module with a current higher than 10 A.
