Flexinol is a wire made of an alloy of nickel and titanium with the shape memory. It can be bent and model when it is in the martensitic form, it will return to the original form when you'll use electricity or when you heat it.

Description

Flexinol is a wire made of an alloy of nickel and titanium with the shape memory. When it is in the martensitic form, it can be formed and bent in different directions, and if we use the current of about 320 mA or it will be heated to approx. 100 C, it will immediately return to its original form. It is used in the linear actuators.
