Description
The holding electromagnet powered with voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 8 W. It holds a weight of 20 kg in standard earth acceleration 9.8 m/s2. The body diameter is 40 mm and its height 20 mm, hole with M3 thread is used for mounting.
The device can be used as an actuator controlled by any microcontroller, e.g.an Arduino. Please note that an electromagnet consumes too much power to connect it directly to the pins of the microcontroller. For this purpose, you can userelays,optical isolator ortransistor amplifier.
Attention! The manufacturer recommends maintaining a good heat dissipation from the housing because when the temperature of the coil increases, the force that holds decreases. |
