A holding electromagnet which, after applying a voltage pulse of 12 V , holds a mass of 80 kg (with a standard acceleration due to gravity of 9.8 m/s 2 ). The current consumption during operation of the device is approximately 850 mA. The rated power is 10 W. The product has a mounting hole with an M8 thread, the set also includes an appropriate screw and washer. The device has dimensions: 65 x 30 mm. The length of the cables is approximately 30 cm. It is possible to control the electromagnet using, among others: Arduino . However, do not connect it directly to the microcontroller pins. The power consumed by the magnet is too high, which may damage the system. An appropriate solution will be to use a relay , optocoupler or transistor amplifier .
