Product description: Filament PETG Carbon 1.75 mm 1 kg
PET-G Carbon filament with an admixture of carbon fiber , which significantly increases the stiffness and hardness of the resulting prints compared to standard PETG . It is resistant to stretching while maintaining low shrinkage. Thanks to the addition of carbon fiber, the models can get a matte surface , which will definitely increase the aesthetic value. PETG Carbon will be used in the creation of durable, rigid products , e.g. various types of handles and structural elements. 1 kg of material with a diameter of 1.75 mm is wound on the spool. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber.
PETG Carbon filament properties
- High stiffness and hardness of finished models
- High plasticizing temperature
- High abrasion resistance
- High compressive strength
- Very good layer lamination
- Matt finish of prints
- Low shrinkage
Due to the presence of carbon fiber, the manufacturer recommends the use of nozzles with diameters greater than 0.4 mm. In addition, for long-term use of PETG Carbon, the best solution will be a stainless steel nozzle.
Suggested filament printing parameters
printing temperature | From 230°C to 255°C |
table temperature | From 60°C to 80°C |
Print speed | From 30mm/s to 70mm/s |
Print cooling | recommended |
Due to the differences in the construction of printers, the above data should be treated as guidelines, and the appropriate values should be determined experimentally.
