The charger has an algorithm that tests the batteries before they start charging - it decides whether to use the refresh or precharge mode.
Charging can take place in 4 stages:
- Discharging in order to remove the effect of the so-called lazy battery, which minimizes the memory effect.
- Pre-charging - pulse charging, low intensity charging for cells with high internal resistance.
- Basic charging - with rated current.
- Back-up charge - the batteries remain fully charged and can be removed from the charger at any time.
