Description
Home sensor of measuring the earthquakes in the form of the shield for the Raspberry Pi. It has a motion sensor of the earth's crust, the so-called geophone. It works with a sampling rate of 100 samples per second. It can detect local motions (up to 10 km) and regional (up to 400 km). The device works in the internet cloud joining a global network of sensors.

How it works
Raspberry Shake Original is directly connected to the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi. Using a very sensitive sensor, geophone and accelerometers, it is capable of detecting any motion of the earth's crust.
Sensors transmit the actual seismic data at the rate of 4 packages per second that are received through the software on the Raspberry Pi. Then, the data is transmitted online to the Raspberry Shake Community that collects the data and warns about the danger
