It enables temperature measurement in the range from -200 ° C to 1350 ° C , with an accuracy of 1.5 ° C and a measurement resolution of 0.0625 ° C. SparkFun Qwiic Thermocouple Amplifier not only has the ability to read the ambient temperature, but also the directly tested element. Additionally, the user can configure up to four temperature thresholds which, when exceeded, trigger an alarm. This version of the board is equipped with screw connections that allow easy connection of any thermocouple.

Connection of a thermocouple amplifier

The MCP9600 thermocouple amplifier module communicates via the I2C interface. It is equipped with a screw connection for connecting a thermocouple and two alternatives for connecting to the main module (e.g. with Arduino ) - Qwiic and solder pads.
