Adafruit Metro ESP32-S2 is a development board equipped with the ESP32-S2 chip with WiFi wireless communication. It supports the 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n WiFi standard, has 4 MB Flash memory, 2 MB external PSRAM memory. The user has three options for powering the module - via the USB C connector, DC socket and battery via the JST 2-PH connector. The board is equipped with a MAX17048 battery charge monitoring system, a RESET and BOOT0 button.

Board power supply
The module can be powered in 3 ways:
- USB Type C - used for programming and powering the board with 5 V
- DC socket 5.5 / 2.1 mm - used to power the board with voltage from 6 V to 12 V
- JST 2-PH connector - used to connect a lithium-polymer Li-Pol battery with a capacity of 250 mAh or more (3.7 V / 4.2 V)
