Product description: Original Prusa i3 MK3/S/+ to MK3.9 upgrade kit - for self-assembly
The MK3.9 Upgrade Kit is an advanced DIY package for upgrading Prusa 3D printers. It enables faster and more efficient printing, newer connectivity options, as well as support for Prusa Connect software and Input Shaper and Pressure Advance technologies. The kit includes an xBuddy board, a new xLCD screen, a metal xBuddy housing, Nextruder parts including the motor, new belts for the X- and Y-axis, new rods and bearings for the Z-axis, connectors for the heating table, as well as necessary accessories, cables and fasteners. Filament for printing missing parts is also included. The user retains from the original printer such parts as the frame, power supply, MK52 heating table, X / Y / Z motors and X / Y rods and bearings. The kit requires a compatibility check with the current printer configuration.

Before placing an order - check
Before you upgrade your Prusa i3 MK3/S/+ printer to MK3.9 with an available kit, it is important to check two key items to ensure your printer is compatible with the kit:
Power supply type (PSU) :
- If the printer has a black power supply unit (PSU) , it is fully compatible with the upgrade kit.
- If you have a silver PSU, you will need to add a compatible wiring harness or replace it with a black PSU.
Heating table connector version :
- If the heating table is screwed with 2+3 screws (power cable screwed), there is no compatibility problem.
- If the heating table is attached with 2+1 screws (power cable soldered), the heating table will need to be replaced.
