Description: Scamper Kit - kit for building Dagu RS038 robot
The set contains elements for building a robot on multidirectional omni-wheel. The project can trace a line or navigate through a maze. The kit includes a programmed digital controller which can also be used as a pad for Arduino. Assembly requires soldering and programming.
Main features:
- The kit includes a programmed robot controller, which can operate as a pad for Arduino.
- Sixomni-wheels moves in all directions.
- Threemotors with gearboxesand radiators wires provide the appropriate drive.
- The set includes three Hall sensors and threemagnetic encodersto measure the current in the motors and speed.
- The case is made of anodized aluminum.
- Box to install 6AA batteries(not included in the set).
- IR sensor on the board.
- The main controller can operate as an Arduino pad is programmed from the Arduino IDE environment.
- XBee socket allows you to easily connect the attachedwireless module.
- DetailedAssembly instructionsand sample programs on the CD-ROM.
The kit includes a CD with illustrated assembly instructions. |
The collaboration with Arduino
Experienced users can add more functionality to the Scamperrobot, usingthe Arduino module, the manufacturer recommends to use aversion of the RedBoardSparkfun brand. Board from a set can serve as a controller of motors, connectors fitteddirectly to the Arduino and communicates through an I2C interface. This way you can add multiplesensors and electronic modules, compatible with Arduino to the robot.
