The RoboCar Chassis from Totem. The product is a DIY platform programmable via Arduino IDE for advanced builders. It is fully customizable and has the ability to be extended with other Totem modules. The vehicle can also be controlled using a smartphone, using an app for Android and iOS mobile devices. The heart of RoboCar Chassis is Roboboard X4, a proprietary controller based on 240 MHz ESP32 chip.
We also offer dedicated body, which allows to transform RoboCar Chassis into truck model.

Controller Totem RoboBoard X4
RoboCar Chassis uses the proprietary Totem RoboBoard X4 controller. Below is the list of the most important features of this component.

Programming via Arduino IDE
Programming the chassis allows for advanced projects by controlling the included motors and sensors. RoboCar Chassis can perform specific tasks or execute advanced algorithms. The programming uses the beginner-friendly Arduino IDE platform. Details can be found in product documentation.

Totem Bus system
Advanced modular expansion system for easy building of plug and play robots. It is based on CAN bus. Compared to other systems, Totem BUS uses a more universal communication protocol. The RoboBoard X4 controller uses it to extend the functionality of realized projects. A dedicated Totem application or Arduino IDE is used to control the elements.
Additional components from the system diagram opposite are not included in the Totem RoboCar Chassis kit.

Totem RoboCar Chassis Construction Kit Botland - Robotics Shop
The proprietary controller is equipped with four mounting holes located on the corners of the board. Moreover, on the board you can find a practical reset button.
There is a fully programmable, power-saving LED and a button located directly under the processor. The whole kit is delivered in a rigid cardboard box for safe transportation of the components.
