Description
A set of three modules that support technology of location iBeacon. Its aim is to facilitate movement in enclosed spaces. The modules contain a temperature and light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer and NFC system. With low power consumption, running time on a single battery can reach 7 years. Maximum range is 150 meters.
iBeacon
IBeacon is Apple's location technology based on Bluetooth 5.0. Its aim is to facilitate movement in enclosed spaces. In a wanted place are situated IBeacon transmitters that transmit information about their situation. The user with a smartphone, is able to read these signals and determine a very accurate position relative to the source (up to a few centimeters). This technology can be used in shops, airports, stations, etc.
Examples of the applications of iBeacon:
- Help in choosing the shortest queue at the cashier
- Viewing the personalized promotions when approaching the relevant departments
- Assistance in determining the path through the store based on shopping list
- At the airport and station, specifying the path to the desired gate or platform
Location Beacons
The set consists of 3 modules Location Beacon containing a temperature, movement, light and direction sensor. They allow you to specify different areas, for example, in store. Each module has a unique ID and a self-adhesive layer to facilitate the installation. The devices are supported by smartphones with Android and iOS systems. Location Beacons work in technology Eddystone which allows you to read the position via the websites. In addition, these modules support theIndoor Location which is able to determine the exact coordinates of the location inside the building.

Maintenance and programming
Beacons work with all smartphones that support Bluetooth technology 5.0. The manufacturer provides detailed instructions for operation of equipment, in thedevice documentation.
Dev Kit can run in Cloud via the activation link in the package.
