TheRing 2D Q R Code Scanner is a kit consisting of a barcode and QR code scanner and an adapter that processes the read values. The module can read one-dimensional and two-dimensional codes, all through an intelligent image recognition algorithm. Ring 2D QR Code Scanner works with all controllers operating at 3.3 V / 5 V, supports UART and I2C communication - which in combination gives the possibility of integration with a wide range of devices.
The product is compatible with Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi controllers.
The manufacturer has prepared a detailed user guide, which includes, among other things, wiring diagram and sample program codes.
A board - an adapter, which is the link between the scanner and the module with a microcontroller processing the signal.
How does the QR code scanner work?
Ring 2D QR Code Scanner uses an intelligent image recognition algorithm. The supported types of 1D one-dimensional codes are EAN13, EAN8, UPCA, UPCE0, UPCE1, Code128, Code39, Code93, CodeBar, Interleaved, and 2D two-dimensional codes (QR) are QR code, Data Matrix, PDF417. The module has two built-in LEDs that inform the user whether the code was read correctly. It can be used in self-service vending machines, subway gates, entrances to places where it is necessary to scan tickets or coupons, and many others.
