Revelation. The INA219 controller allows you to check the voltage, current and energy, and thus you can calculate how much battery is left and use a simple script to safely turn off the device. It also works without interruption, so you can use rpi on one cable and charge the battery. 1000mAh is enough for about 1h 20min of recording from the camera in Full HD 30FPS (during this time some 25GB of data is saved on the card ...) with a current of ~ 500mAh. Note, the code from the manufacturer's website has a weak algorithm for counting how many percent is left in the battery and you either have to adapt to it or code a different one (on Stack Exchange there is a formula starting with 123, it works perfectly).
